The Fountain by Darren Aronofsky.
Darren Aronofsky is one of my favorite directors and has been responsible for some of the greatest indie movies of our times, such as Pi and Requiem for a Dream - needless to say, both masterpieces in their own right. Even though it was a moving story and a visually challenging movie, in my opinion was not as good as his previous ones. Nevertheless it is very interesting Sci-Fic and a great love story. Worth watching it!

Both are movies that I loved, for different reasons. That's what I call a nice movie weekend! :-)
Bom, eu nao mencionei aqui um terceiro filme... que manchou seriamente o meu fim de semana imaculado de filmes de qualidade... "Lost City" de e com Andy Garcia. Uma fantochada completamente parcial da revolucao Cubana. Uma visao muito muito deturpada da realidade e claramente preparada e mastigada para os espectadores americanos e americo-cubanos. Nao consigo explicar... e' obvio que muitas atrocidades foram cometidas aquando da revolucao, mas o que a mim mais me chocou foi a reaccao dos heroi completamente parcial... isto e', torturas, execucoes sem julgamento e crimes no tempo do ditador Batista, estava tudo na boa e o heroi andava feliz da vida... no entanto o mesmo cenario apos revolucao provocava indignacao e levava o heroi ao exilio. Ou seja, basicamente ele era um dos priveligiados do regime de Batista e por isso nao se indignava com a injustica de entao Muito muito mau...
